Where does the accelerator take place?
Most of the workshops and office hours take place at Mana Up HQ in Dole Cannery. We will notify you ahead of time if any events or meetings are set at a different location.
Are we required to attend every meeting in person?
We expect you to attend every meeting in person, but exceptions can be made.
Do you only accept food companies?
No, we accept products of any kind. If it is a food product company, we make sure your product has a shelf life of at least six (6) months. If you are trying to extend the shelf life of your product, then you will still be considered.
Is there a cost to join the program?
We ask that you give us the right to sell your products on our e-commerce site for up to five (5) years.
What is the time commitment if accepted into the accelerator?
The weekly commitment is one 3-4 hour evening workshop and one 30-minute check-in. Office hour sessions with mentors and experts are 30 minutes to 1 hour in length; they are not mandatory as not every session will be relevant to your company.
