Malcolm Yorkston, an elementary school teacher, struggled with allergies for years. Tired of spending hours at the doctor’s office, he seeked an alternative remedy. He started beekeeping after discovering two tablespoons of honey a day eased his congestion. When he ended up with more honey than he needed, Hawaiian Rainbow Bees was born.
Hawaiian Rainbow Bees is a family owned company that focuses on producing quality, unprocessed honey from Hawaii’s tropical flowers that bloom year round. Their facilities are located in Honolulu and on the Big Island near Hilo, Hawaii. Their bees serve as excellent pollinators for the local farming community, generating honey in approximately 1500 hives in over 25 bee yards across the islands.
